Minutes

A meeting of the Ogallala Board of Health was called to order at 7:40 p.m. by Secretary, Joe Humphrey in the City of Ogallala Administration Building, 411 East Second Street, Ogallala, Nebraska. Members present: Mary Lou Heelan, Glen Silvius, Dr. Kurt Johnson and Joe Humphrey.

Notice of the meeting was given in advance by publication in the Keith County News, the designated method of giving notice. Notice of the meeting was delivered to members of the Board of Health by hand delivery of an Ogallala Police Officer.

Mary Lou Heelan moved to approve the minutes of the February 17, 2004 Board of Health Meeting. Glen Silvius seconded the motion. Voting Yes: Heelan, Silvius, Johnson and Humphrey. Voting No: None.

Dr. Paul Foy arrived at 7:43 p.m.

Public Forum: Dr. Foy opened the public forum and invited any individual wishing to speak to the board to come to the podium. Dr. Foy advised that the Public Forum would remain open for the duration of the public meeting.

Bullock Motors, 801 West 1^st Street. Humphrey informed the Board that he had inspected the property at 801 West 1^st and that they had taken measures to bring the property into compliance with Municipal Code. There was discussion on the progress made at the property. Heelan expressed concern that the owners had not done enough to clean up the property. After further discussion Heelan moved to direct the Board Secretary to contact the Nebraska Dealership Licensing Board concerning Bullock Motors. Johnson seconded the motion. Voting Yes: Foy, Heelan, Silvius, Johnson and Humphrey. Voting No: None. Motion Carried.

Humphrey informed the Board that the next scheduled meeting, Tuesday, April 20, 2004.

No further business to come before the Board, Johnson moved to adjourn. Silvius seconded the motion.

Voting Yes: Foy, Heelan, Silvius, Johnson and Humphrey. Voting No: None. Motion Carried.
