What is RSVP?

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Keith County recruits, supports and provides volunteer opportunities and experiences for persons over the age of 55.  RSVP offers these services to non-profit organizations throughout the community allowing our volunteers to  share the talents,  knowledge and skills they have acquired in their lifetime in helping to fulfill the needs of others.

Currently, 310 volunteers assist over 37 different non-profit organizations in Keith County.  These senior adults have served over 60,000 hours in the last year MAKING A DIFFERENCE, building stronger communities and addressing priority needs.

Why Volunteer?
Volunteers find their lives enriched as they share a lifetime of wisdom, love and experience with others through volunteering.  Communities become stronger as concerned and involved citizens participate in volunteer activities.

What if I already volunteer elsewhere?
Active retirees and seniors may already be volunteering elsewhere.  Good for you!  RSVP need not be an "extra" commitment.  Your volunteer hours an any of the 37 not-for profit organizations can count as RSVP hours.

Contact the Volunteer Director about becoming an RSVP volunteer.
